For players stuck between 600 and 1400

You're not losing because of what you don't know.

You're losing to the same three or four habits, over and over, and nobody has ever pointed them out to you. More content won't fix that. Somebody watching and analysing your games will.

Why the courses didn't work

Nothing you've bought was aimed at you specifically.

Content is general

A course teaches the thing the author decided to teach. It has no idea which of those things you already do fine and which one is quietly costing you fifty rating points a month.

Blunders aren't the problem

You already know you hung the knight. What you can't see is the habit five moves earlier that made hanging it likely — and that's the thing that repeats.

Plateaus are foundations

Most players stuck at 1100 are stuck because something basic never landed properly. Adding more on top of it doesn't help. Going back and fixing it does.

Start here

Send me one game. I'll find the pattern.

No charge, nothing to sign up for. Send a link to a recent loss and I'll record you a short video walking through the habit I can see in it, and the one change that would fix it.

1

Send a game

Any recent loss. A Chess.com or Lichess link is enough.

2

Get a video back

Around 90 seconds, on your board, naming the pattern and the fix. Usually within two days.

3

Decide what you want next

Apply the fix on your own, or we talk about doing the whole thing properly. Either is a real option.

The coaching

Twelve weeks, and the plateau moves.

Weekly sessions built around your own games. We find the patterns, then go back and rebuild whatever foundation let them form — the same structured curriculum I teach beginners, aimed only at the parts you actually need.

The guarantee

Your rating goes up by 200 points inside the twelve weeks, or you keep working with me free until it does.

One condition: at least 100 games played over the twelve weeks. The reps are where the improvement actually happens — the guarantee holds when you put them in.

Before you send one

See how I think first.

My Road to 2000 series on YouTube walks through real games the same way I'd walk through yours — finding the habit that actually decided the result, not just the blunder at the end. A good place to see the approach before you send a game.
